LED Wall Rental — frequently asked

How much does an LED wall rental cost?

Cost scales with pixel pitch, square footage, rigging method, duration, and labor market in your metro. We return a fully itemized quote within 24 hours of receiving your brief.

What pixel pitch should I choose?

Viewing distance drives pitch selection. A rule of thumb: P2.6 works well from 8–30ft, P3.9 from 12–60ft, and P1.5 for close-up broadcast or virtual production. We'll recommend the right pitch once we know your venue layout.

Can the wall be curved or shaped?

Yes. Our modular LED panels support concave and convex curves. Extreme angles require structural engineering, which we handle in-house with our rigging team.

Do you provide content for the wall?

We can. We work with motion designers for looping backdrops, speaker name graphics, lower thirds, and event branding — or we ingest your team's content and optimize it for the panel's resolution and color profile.

How fast can you turn around a quote?

Our standard turnaround is 24 hours from brief receipt. For active production timelines with a hard deadline, call us directly.

Can you do outdoor LED walls?

Yes. Outdoor-rated P3.9 and P6.6 panels are available across our network. They're weatherproof, run at 5,000–7,000 nits for sunlight readability, and mount to ground-support or structural truss.

What happens if a panel fails during the event?

Backup panels and a spare processor are staged on-site for every wall we deliver. Our technician resolves hardware issues without interrupting the program.

What signal formats do you accept?

HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort, and NDI. We carry scan converters and redundant signal paths. If your broadcast or playback system uses a non-standard format, tell us in the brief and we'll accommodate.

Do you handle rigging permits and structural sign-offs?

Yes. For flown walls, we coordinate structural engineering letters and venue rigging approvals through our project management workflow.

How far in advance should I book?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most events. Peak season (September–November, January–March) compresses availability, so earlier is better. We can turn around short-notice requests — call to discuss.

LED wall or projection — which is right for my event?

LED wins in high-ambient-light rooms, on stages with long throw distances, and anywhere you need a seamless edge-to-edge image. Projection still works well in dim ballrooms with a clean screen surface and shorter throws. We quote both side-by-side when the room could go either way and let you pick.

What size LED wall do I need for my stage?

Working size depends on viewing distance and content. A typical conference keynote uses an 18–24ft wide wall for rooms holding 300–1,000 people. Larger general sessions go to 30–40ft. Concerts and brand activations often run 50ft+ with side wings. Send us the room dimensions and we'll recommend a build with content-area diagrams.

Can you build a curved or non-rectangular LED wall?

Yes. We design concave, convex, columns, arches, ceilings, and shaped builds using flex modules where curvature is tight. Each design is engineered with rigging plots and load calculations before it leaves our warehouse.

Do you support live camera feeds and broadcast workflows?

Yes. Our walls run at 3,840 Hz refresh to eliminate camera flicker, and we calibrate color for broadcast capture. We support multi-input switching with backup paths and provide a video engineer on-site for every camera-driven event.

Can you handle short-notice or last-minute LED rentals?

Often, yes — depending on date, size, and metro inventory. Call us directly with your venue and timeline. Within reason, we can mobilize panels, processing, and crew on 48–72 hours notice for events in our core Northeast markets.

What kind of content works best on an LED wall?

Native panel resolution content looks sharpest — we'll provide a pixel-map for your designers. For PowerPoint, presenter graphics, and looping motion backdrops, our content team can optimize files for color accuracy and aspect ratio before show day. We support live feeds, prerecorded video, and real-time graphics rendering.
