Projector & Screen Rental — frequently asked

How many lumens do I need?

A rough guide: 5,000–7,000 lumens in a dark room; 10,000–15,000 lumens in a moderately lit hotel ballroom; 20,000–30,000 lumens in a bright convention center with windows. We'll specify the right output once we know the venue.

Do you do rear projection?

Yes. Rear projection requires translucent screen material and sufficient throw space behind the screen. We calculate the geometry and source the right screen for the available depth.

Can you blend multiple projectors for a wide image?

Yes. Dual and triple projector edge-blended setups create seamless panoramic images up to 45ft or wider. We handle the warping and blending calibration.

What signal formats do you support?

HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort, and HDBaseT. We carry scalers and scan converters for non-standard sources. 4K and HDR sources are supported with compatible hardware.

Can a projector compete with LED in a bright room?

A 25,000–30,000 lumen laser projector holds its image in most hotel ballroom conditions. For very bright rooms, wide screens, or rooms with skylights, LED is the more reliable solution — we'll tell you which to use.

Do you provide the screen?

Yes. Screens are included in our projector packages. We carry Da-Lite Fast-Fold, Draper, and Rosco translucent rear-projection material in widths from 8ft to 30ft.
